Happy Birthday Mom!

A new baby is like the beginning of all things,
hope, a dream of possibilities.

The process of maturing is an art to be learned, an effort to be sustained.

This world can change in the blink of an eye.
That is why everyday, not just today,
I thank God for you!

Love you Mom, and...
 Happy Birthday!

  1. Mom's baby photo was probably taken when she was around 1 year old.

The school class picture... I love it! Mom is sitting next to the sign, wearing her Brownie uniform (and long white socks). Something about her in this picture reminds me a lot of my daughter :)

The last picture is mom's 1976 senior picture.

  2. I love it. It's so special that you have these pictures. Your parents must love your blog. My dad turns 70 on Monday.Once again, beautiful and fitting quotes.

I should make supper. I baby-sit two little guys. They leave at six on Fridays. Usually its crazy with them leaving and people coming home etc...not so today. I had a few moments to sneak a quick peek:)

Enjoy your week-end...I will have extra writing time in mine. Jim is working.
    God bless.

    1. The internet makes this such a small world.

I was browsing through your lovely blog and came to this entry. So very sweet and I'm sure your mother is very proud of you.

BTW, I was born Aug 26, 1957 and have a daughter named Megan. LOL Please don't tell me your Mother's name is Pamela. :-)

    2. Hello Pamela ~ and thank you for the compliments! I love that you share the same birthday as my mom... she's a year younger, born in 1958 ~ my dad was born in 1957. I can't believe you both named your daughters Megan too! Her name happens to be... Sherry Jean :) Hope you have a great day!
