Painted this card in watered-down acrylic paint (burnt umber) because I couldn't find my watercolors! I found inspiration for the flowers, books, and teacup on Janet Martin's blog ~ one of my favorites ~ Another Porch...http://anotherporch.blogspot.com/2011/09/gleanings.htmlI still want to do a painting that follows Janet's photo more closely... sometimes I pull inspiration from numerous mental pictures and memories to form what comes out on paper, and that's what happened here!
