"Lord, make us
mindful
of the little things that
grow & blossom
in these days
to make the world
beautiful for us."
~ W.E.B. Du Bois ~
What do you think of this little display?
My daughter and I set it up on the porch...
just for fun!
Look at what you have around the house - new
or old, and combine it with a few daffodils
& dainty blossoms.
You'll have a pretty display in no time!
Thanks for stopping by!
Have a great day!
Gorgeous display and inspired lots of ideas - we are heading into Autumn down here in NZ - so it is lovely to see the flowers xx Michelle
ReplyDeleteThanks Michelle :) I will be sharing another similar display soon... glad you left feeling inspired!
DeleteI LOVE that display!!
ReplyDeleteThank you :)
DeleteGorgeous...Victoria and I just found something to do! We've made jello and muffins, played Dutch Blitz and now...for some creativity!
ReplyDeleteThanks Janet ~ every time I post something like this, I think of you and Lucy :) Sounds like you've had a great day today!! I must say, I'm not familiar with Dutch Blitz though :)
DeleteSo gorgeous, love the rustic with the pretty flowers. I did a pin of this.

Thank you Patti ~ I too love rust, peeling paint, and worn textures combined with delicate, pretty things... such as flowers :)
DeleteReally nice! I especially like the green cup ( I love green).
ReplyDeleteThank you! I love that cup too... especially since it was only $1.00 :)
DeleteIt's so beautiful!!!!! I like it!
ReplyDeleteThank you :)
DeleteI love it because it's natural and heart-felt. I am glad that it is already spring, as I was tired of the long frost of winter.
ReplyDeleteThank you Mariya... and we are also happy to welcome spring, even after a mild winter :)
DeleteSuch a cute/beautiful idea!! I LOVE that green printed coffee cup!
ReplyDeleteThank you... yes, that cup is one of my favorites... I also fell in love with the colors, but found it interesting that it depicted a farm scene...
DeleteMegan,that is so pretty!!!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great idea to add the eggs.
Have a good week before Easter!
Thank you Lucy :) Those are fresh brown eggs from our neighbors... my husband helps them around their small farm (rounds up loose cattle, helps deliver calves, brings their livestock hay, etc.) ~ in return, they are nice enough to supply us with eggs year-round, asparagus, berries & jam, and the occasional pie :)
DeleteHope you have a good, peaceful week also!
Wunderbare Fotos, Megan, die Art der Gestaltung wirkt so schön romantisch.
ReplyDeleteLiebe Grüße,
Bärbel
I love the vignette you and your daughter created. The contrast of the wood and rust with the dainty flowers is wonderful. Also love the chippy door as the backdrop.
ReplyDeleteI'm a new follower and hope you'll stop by.
