A Rose-scented Breeze

I wrote the short journal entry above by combining
memories of being a newlywed with my imagination.
It was fun to write!
I combined several graphics
for the pink rose digital collage.
Here are my sources:

*The Vintage Moth*

Background for the journal entry:

Thank you!
Hope you find yourself
an unsuspecting victim of
life's simple pleasures today!

Thanks for stopping by!

  1. You captured the nostalgia perfectly! Really enjoyed the whole layout and the journal idea! Thank-you for sharing and blessing~

Thank-you for your comment today. I enjoy posting the 'photo of the day' as a way to share God's poetry as it warms my heart and then others:)
I am having a lovely day in spite of grayness. Roses help:)
    Take care.

p.s. Many are choosing to turn off word verification because of its time consuming, difficult format it has changed to.I'm not sure if you want to but if you do, All you need to do is keep 'comment moderation' on so you can control spam, but check 'no' in word verification.

    1. Thanks Janet... it means a lot that you like this journal idea :) The weather here has been rotating from very bleak grayness to moments of bright sunshine. Just trying to enjoy the moments of light! I also just turned off the word verification :)

  4. This is absolutely beautiful. Your writing style is so vivid I could practically smell and picture my favorite fragrant rose. I read your terms and conditions for use of your works but I would appreciate some clarification. Is it allowable to print your work to be used as a furniture transfer? I have a couple of projects in mind that I think would be beautiful with these words on it. Thank you for considering my request. Blessings to you. Diane

    1. Hello, the name of the font/handwriting is "Edwardian Script" - a similar font would also be "CAC Champagne." Hope this helps!
