Our family loves these
sweet & simple pumpkin muffins!
I made the recipe into an 8" x 10"
image for instant kitchen art...
Some tips & advice:
1. Only grease the bottoms of the muffin tin. Skip the sides.
2. Fill an oven-safe dish with 1" or so of water, and place in the oven while preheating.

3. Preheat your oven for 15 or 20 degrees hotter than the recipe states, then reduce to recommended temp when muffin tins go in.

4. Did you know muffins freeze really well?
After they've cooled, place in a large freezer bag.
To reheat, pop in the microwave for about 15 seconds.
To send in lunches, place in a sandwich bag and they'll thaw by lunchtime.

These muffins look yummy! Thank you for the wonderful recipe. I came here today to look for a pic or a tag of lavender. I looked under your gardening label but didn't find anything. I am wondering if you have considered adding a search button. I enjoy your blog very much - thank you!
ReplyDeleteHi Megan, That looks much like a recipe I make a lot for my kids. They love them too.
ReplyDeleteNow I should print yours and have it handy, love the quotes you find too.
Fall does have it's own comforts, doesn't it?
oh yummy, can't wait to try this, both art and recipe:)
ReplyDeletep.s. I had a chance to see the cards you made for Emily's wedding. I love the idea. They have turned into keepsakes she can keep at her fingertips. Thank-you again. I certainly don't mind if you share it here. I think they are so lovely that others would enjoy them too!
Amazing looking muffins.
ReplyDeleteThank you for the printable wall art and such wonderful tips as well. Thank you
ColleenB.
Thanks a lot for this recipe. It looks really good. Hugs!
ReplyDeleteThese sound great. I am going to pin this (please let me know if that's not ok.) I'm glad to find this, so that I have another pumpkin muffin recipe. I have one at my blog, and I love that recipe, but it is more of a sweet treat that I like to take to holiday gatherings, etc. (More like pumpkin cake/muffins.) Yours will be nice for a less sweet muffin, and I'm looking forward to trying them.
ReplyDeleteTried these with my little one! We added sweet roasted walnuts and chia to half, chocolate chips to the other. They were AWESOME! Thanks
