Little Red Riding Hood

I started sketching this girl in the woods yesterday afternoon.  It didn't take long before she started looking like Little Red Riding Hood.  I'm not sure what season she went to her grandmother's house in the story, but doesn't Autumn seem to fit?

I love the wind blowing her hood and cape,
and the leaves twirling down around her.

  3. It feels like fall. I don't think it will look like Red Riding Hood if you paint her hood a different color. It's a great sketch! Happy PPF!

  17. What a beautiful sketch. Are you going to paint it? Left as it is it's very atmospheric...a little scary, just right for October.

  18. Thank you everyone for your kind comments ~ I don't know about color ~ I'm always afraid of messing up my detail work, but this could look really beautiful in color too... maybe I'll try it for once :)

  19. Megan, it is a beautiful drawing. She looks like Little RH to me. And i think October is when she visited grandma. She didn't need her winter coat, only the little cape with the hood.
