I loved the one about your son's black eye, and how your 'words had to hold him'. I thought about how my little guy still runs to me and says 'kiss my boo-boo mommy'. Thanks for helping me cherish moments with your reflections.

I'm glad you get to go on vacation! Love how a vacation brings everyone back together :) Hope you have a great time!!Lilac & Lavenderhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18310795393642483522noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3653873317577758096.post-19123677851853973832011-08-05T04:03:26.141+01:002011-08-05T04:03:26.141+01:00Megan, this post struck such a chord in my heart!Y...Megan, this post struck such a chord in my heart! You are in the years that are so very precious! School and schedules about to begin...but surprisingly God has created us with the ability to adapt as change comes.I've decided loving is a see-saw of holding on and letting go.I love this picture...I'm going to see if I can find a poem I wrote when my oldest daughter was this size...many years ago:) I also was very touched this morning by the post about 'taking the time' to really see what is around us...I'm going to post a few photos I took today, determined to stop and take the time to look into flowers, listen to God in so many common, yet stunningly miraculous ways!On Sat. we leave for vacation so there will be a small break on my blog. I am so looking forward to spending some uninterrupted family time. My husband is a long-haul truck-driver, and gone a lot. The teenagers...gone a lot too:)Sorry for this long comment...God Bless:)Janet Martinhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10126248666972072628noreply@blogger.com
